UNANSWERED QUESTIONS ...

"UNANSWERED QUESTIONS"

March 13, 2013

Picture

In a world where there is instantaneous everything, for most, living with unanswered questions can be a beginning step in the discovery of who you are.  Many may ask the question “who am I?”  And then like with all things of the world, expect an immediate answer and not only immediate, but one that is completely understood and explainable.  However, this is not the domain or way of the Truth of who you Are.  Even this writing will mislead you.

The way of the Truth of Who you Are, is filled with twists and turns and paradox, inconsistencies and incongruent (ness), hypocrisy and ludicrousness.    It is not a straight road … except it is.  How do you tell someone you are on a road tonowhere (now here)?  You don’t, but your life being lived will reflect it and those that are paying attention will begin to see through you, that it is true.

So next time you need an answer to anything that comes up, take a pause, don’t be so quick to find the answer.  See if you can hold out and see whether or not the answer shows up in a way you could not have predicted.  This is the fun of beginning to See.  You begin to See that everything you have ever needed shows up.  You only overlook it when you are searching for the answer, you don’t get to see all the many ways it comes … because you are looking for something specific.

When you put your search down for an answer, it allows for all possibilities to that question to arise … it’s like opening a box and then just leaving it open … not looking inside, just leaving it open, you might even begin to allow the possibility that you don’t even know what a box is … this is not becoming an idiot, it is seeing that we have labeled everything to the point that we actually don’t know what anything is, we just assume we do because it has a label … that is actually being an idiot as opposed to allowing for not knowing.

So just for today, be the box with the open top and allow that you don’t know who or what you are, but you are interested.  And wait and see.

BE WELL . . .

The other day while taking a run … there was a viewing going on of some comments that had been made by a Friend that is currently in prison.  He was talking about how he sees all his mistakes and is going to do better now … see’s that he fuct up and is going to fix everything, become a better this and do a better that.  And a vision of all the cards people send out when one gets sick went by saying “Get Well” or “Get Well Soon.”  And what appeared in response was … don’t “get well” … “Be Well.”

Such a simple twist of words however something was so clearly seen and maybe it can be relayed here.  If one is “getting well” it means they aren’t currently “Well” now.  But right now is all there actually is … so just “Be Well” in it.  Stop trying to “become” better and just “Be” Great right now.

This is where one is pointed to being a “Clean Slate.”  If there is a sense that you have done something that you must fix then do whatever it is to fix it.  However, it is much simpler and easier to just have a Clean Slate and then send out the word (from the Inside) that anything unresolved is welcome to come to you and when it comes polish it up … wipe it clean and begin where you are … right now.

Nothing can be done about the past except in the moment you are in.  So “Be Well” right now … not tomorrow … right now … stop seeing yourself as “not well.”  And just simply “Be Well” in each moment that arises.  Don’t “Be Well” for anyone else … “Be Well” for you and then everyone else benefits and begins to “Be Well” through their interaction with you.  Maybe start making new cards that say “Be Well Now” instead of “Get Well Soon.”  Heh!

This isn’t like how you usually learn things in the world … usually you must practice like with football, basketball, skateboarding or learning an instrument you have to keep doing it over and over until it is learned.  “Be Well” … is instantaneous.  This is seeing there is Nothing To Learn … it takes no practice to “Be Well” you just Are It and that is seen when one is honest and not making excuses and is reporting from the moment they are In.  Even if you are physically sick (which is the body … not you and this is not about the body), you have the ability to “Be Well” to recognize beyond/before the body … that you Are Well.

“Be Well.”

THE SAME

(Click on Image or Here for a Vitamin)

The world wants conformity, your neighbors, your family, your friends all want you to conform.  You know this, you know this because you know the ones that want it and so you find yourself with a few options, one you move away from them, two…they move away from you, three you try to be what they want and dance until you drop, or four you stand True in yourSelf discovering who you are moment by moment.

What scares those that demand or impose conformity… about your not conforming… are two things, one that they realize they cannot control you, even if they threaten your life ... they lose ... because you are willing to die to be who you Are. The other is because they do not know who they are and you are a reminder that frightens them. They want you to conform and be like they are being (believing) so that there are no ripples in the pond, so that they can pretend that they know who they are.  In this they feel safe, that if you are like me (actually it is “if you believe like me”) then we will be safe, but the funny thing is that what we are all IN is the same for everyone, but the conformity comes from the one that thinks it is an individual and that everyone should be like “it.”

If you look at the Great Teachers that have appeared in our world, they did not conform to the world, to any dictate, doctrine or religion, they walked, in a sense away from the world, discovered the Truth of Who they Are and returned to the world and relayed, pointed what they had Found/Discovered until they were either killed or died.  Yet they were all willing to be killed or die. That doesn’t mean they were looking to be killed or die, they were only willing.

People want to be told what to do so that they do not have to make any decisions for themselves.  Ultimately, you do not need anyone to tell you what to do or what you should do, or what you will do, all you have to do is wait and see what you do.  But to be willing to be who you are at all cost, is the Greatest Freedom one can have in this world.

Now the only thing left is whether you are thinking you are the “individuality” (which is not who you are, but contained in who you are) or the SELF, which all is contained in.  This is the Gift  of Freedom, the only True Freedom we have is ... where the attention is at (the noise of the world/thoughts/mind or the Stillness that all of that appears IN).

Who you Are is not individual, divisible, destroyable or touchable, it is the Greatest Freedom because it cannot be touched by this world and yet you can Know it while in the world.  It is the discovery of our SAMENESS and then the enjoyment of our individuality.  Yes it is a paradox one of GREAT JOY (pun intended)!

A little over a year ago something shifted in me and I no longer was interested in eating animals at all, all desire or whatever it is that one has that makes them want to eat animals left me. Since then I got a chicken, she isn’t a chicken to me anymore she is a bird and she not even a bird she is just what she is in the moments we spend together. She makes a good example of SAMENESS and individuality.

Marma (that is her name) is the SAME as I am … the Same whatever that animates her animates me, which is the same for everyone and everything.  However, in this world, she appears as a bird and I appear as a human, but through my time with her there has been a discovery of our SAMENESS, you could call it Light, God, whatever. Maybe I would not have known this without my time with her and she has deepened it for me with all of life.  She has shown me that being a chicken is not being "chicken" and I am less of a "chicken" because of knowing her, I'd say more like a "free bird."  :o))))

MARMA (On Loving a Chicken)

(click for video)

I have a pet chicken, her name is Marma.  I got her when she was just a few weeks old, she lived with me and my dog Pete in the house for the first two months.  I had to keep her on my lap in a towel most of the time so she didn't poop everywhere but since it was summer and fall we were outside alot.  Then I finally got her a chicken diaper off the internet (many city folk have pet chickens).  That worked for a while but she hated it so eventually I put her in the chicken house with the big girls...she made friends quickly with two other birds and they kept her close.  She took walks everyday with Pete and I and even would follow us down the road for awhile until she started liking food too much and would stop for long periods of time.  She sat with me in Meditation until she was 3 months old, 3 times a day.

She is aware, maybe not aware that she is a chicken, but what is a chicken anyway but a word we place on an animal so that we can all pretend to agree that we know what it is.  But I didn't know what she was or is... I had not ever had a chicken anywhere but on my plate.  So my thoughts were that I would get a chicken and let it tell me who it is...and what happened...to me...she is me in a body that people call a "chicken" just like my dog is me in a body that we call "dog" and just like "you" are me in a body called "whatever your name is."  Because what annimates all of those things is who I am. (and who you are btw :o) and this has deepened in me ... in knowing Marma.  Who knew a chicken could reveal who one is and yet she has.

So Marma has taken road trips...she has even been to burning man...she has been to the ocean in both California and Oregon...she has been to two concerts...the Avett Brother and Brandie Carlile, she has sat with Pete (our dog) and I in cemetaries and campgrounds and she has laid with us on the floor of the redwood forest as we listened to the wildlife come to life when no one else was around and she didn't cluck...not a peep and we all laid so still and were gifted an amazing treat.  She has been attacked by dogs (took over a day to recover from that and she even had puncture wounds) she was grabed by a hawk and I screamed so loud that it scared it and it dropped her and shit on her (i literally scared the shit out of him) lol.

She is quite amazing and I see how other people look at her, because normally she is on their plate and not walking around town (cause we now live in town and she still walks with Pete and I ... accept I carry her and when she has to poop she wiggles in my arms to let me know to put her down.  There is an awareness in her, that people do not want to see because they don't want to look at that they eat her.
But in all times of history, when things go a rye, people turn to canibalism, we are just eaters...so I don't really care that people eat chickens (it's not my thing ... to do any longer but I used to ... before I realized what I was eating and that there was no respect or regard for what I was eating, or how I was getting it and who had given their life to sustain mine.)  Marma has shown me all of that.

I had no idea I would fall in love with a chicken...but I have and she has shown me that we are much more a like than we are different, I am so grateful and in debited to her ... you don't get to pick and choose who you fall in love with ... I just stuck my hand in a basket full of chickens and lifted one out ... named her "Marma" and brought her home ... she could have been any in the bunch ... but now she is like no other and yet she has shown me that all chickens are just like her ... they just haven't been picked by me.
